Additional Options

The additional options window has two very important advanced features that are available in USB Flash Backup (Both of these are explained in full below). I have checked both of these options in my example profile and also please note i have also edited the text field for the drive label. All I need to do is click next to go here.

Check for Space

The check for free space feature is very very useful. It will analyze the files in your backup list and make sure that you have enough space on your USB device before the backup operation begins.

Drive Label?

If you are unsure about your drive label click here and you will see a window that will explain how to rename your USB drive label. Click here to see the example now.

Backup only to this Flash Drive

This is a great feature, if you only wish to backup to a certain USB drive you can check this feature. The program will then check the drive label name before backup begins. Please note if this feature is checked you MUST name the drive in the text area (5). In the above example I have checked this item for my profile "CARL" and named the USB device as "myworkusb"

Drive Label Name

This is an editable text area. Simply click on this area and type in the label name of the USB device that you would like to backup to. In the example above I have chosen a drive label name of "myworkusb", so my example profile "CARL" will only backup to a drive labeled "myworkusb" any other USB device will be ignored by profile "CARL"
