No. Unlike our competitors, USB Flash Backup runs solely from your machine. It doesn't make any changes to your USB pen drive or storage device and is completely safe to use. Our competitors products make changes to the autorun.inf file on your pen drive, these changes can cause problem if the pen is then used on a machine that does not use their software. We realise that USB storage devices are portable and our software should not change the users device in any way, apart from keeping their data safe. |

If you select the run with windows option from the program settings window, USB Flash back will start automatically with windows. You will never have to remember to start the program and your backups will be made 100% automatically when you plug in your USB device. |

What is safe remove? |
When using USB devices on your computer you should use the microsoft safe removal of hardware tool before un-plugging the device. USB flash Backup has an automated function to perform this operation. Many users simply unplug the devices, which can in itself endanger the data. The safe removal option is unique to USB Flash Backup and ensures the safety of your data. |
What is data compression? |
Data compression reduces the size of your files in a safe manor. The compressed files can be decompressed using software like WinRAR or WinZip. |
Does the free trial software have any limitations? |
