Backup Options

The backup options window shows that we are setting up for the profile name "CARL", this is displayed at the top of this window (3). You will see two settings on this screen which are both fully explained in detail below. In the example above I have renamed the default folder for Profile "CARL" to "\CarlsBackup\" and I have also chosen to created a time and date stamped folder each time that USB Flash Backup automatically backs up my data. It really is very easy to set up a profile and its options, lets click NEXT and continue with the wizards settings.

Backup Folder Name

This is the name of your default backup folder that will stored your backed up items on your USB device. Simply click on this field and type in a name for your backup folder. This folder will automatically be created on your USB device and it will automatically store your backup items. In the example above I have chosen a folder name of "\CarlsBackup\".

Create Folder

If you check this item the software will automatically create a time and date stamped folder for each backup operation (eg 2007-09-14.1105). The folder will be saved in your default folder. In the above example I have chosen for my default folder to be called "CarlsBackup" and I have checked the "Create folder for each backup". So this will create a folder within my default folder with a date and time stamp.

Profile Name

This will display the name of the profile that we using in the wizard. In this example we are setting up the backup options for profile name "CARL"
